PURPOSE:To eliminate unevenness on the end face of a wound-up sheet roll by removing a swinging arm from a mechanism for supporting a core and for separating it from a touch roller, forming a core supporting body and a space adjusting base in a vibration resistant structure, and fixedly providing said touch roller. CONSTITUTION:By bonding the cut end of each divided sheet to each core C, as the operation of a core driving mechanism is started, a sheet roller R on the outer periphery of the core C is gradually increased in its diameter, and a required contacting pressure is given to between the sheet roll R and a fixed touch roller 2 in accordance with the driving force, by a contacting pressure adding mechanism 25. And, by giving the command of a control device to a servo motor, the core C, together with a core supporting table 10 and a space adjusting base 13, is continuously backed by means of a driving mechanism 16. Then, the core C is supported, and separated from the touch roller 2. Thus, by removing a supporting arm structure from a mechanism, and by forming the core supporting table 10, space adjusting base 13, and touch roller into a vibration resistant structure which suppresses the vibration of the core C, the vibration of the core C is eliminated, stabilizing contacting force.
