PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of ink jet after a head unit is assembled by covering the surface of a ceramic member after grinding with a thin inorganic or organic film thereby to prevent grinding powder or burr from dropping. CONSTITUTION:In a recording head 10, a nozzle 21 is secured to the end of a head body 20 which is molded out of ceramics and ground, and a vibrator 22 is secured to the outer periphery of a base end, ink is supplied through a tube 23 into the ink passage 24 of the body 20, and injected from the nozzle 21. The outer surface of the body 20 is covered with a thin film coating 25 of an inorganic or organic substance after grinding. Grinding powder is fixed to the surface of the thus covered body 20, new powder is extremely less adhered, the probability that the particles of the powder are introduced into the passage 24 after a head unit is assembled is extremely less, it is not, when ink is injected, clogged, and the injecting direction is not varied to improve the reliability of ink injection. Since the grounding burr is fixed by the film coating 25, the burr does not drop at the time of cleaning before assembling or at the time of assembling. |
