PURPOSE:To improve reliability for calculation efficiency and a calculated result, by setting the change quantity of a numeric value to be substituted to an element constituting a set calculation equation, and deciding the numeric value to be substituted from a substituted numeric value and the change quantity. CONSTITUTION:When the numeric value is substituted from a keyboard 1, a control part 2 stores it in the input value memory area 31 of a memory 3 once, and supplies it to an arithmetic part 5. The arithmetic part 5 reads out the calculation equation set in advance from the memory 3, and performs calculation by substituting the numeric value inputted to the element constituting the calculation equation. Meanwhile, in a change quantity memory area 32 in the memory 3, the change quantity of the numeric value to be substituted to the element of the calculation equation is stored in advance. By instructing the increase or the decrease of the numeric value by depressing a (+) or (-) key, etc., from the keyboard 1, the control part 2 reads out the change quantity from the area 32, and the arithmetic part 5 updates the numeric value by performing the addition or subtraction of the change quantity on the numeric value being substituted, and performs the calculation based on an updated value.
