PURPOSE:To prevent cylinder oil from being carried out by scavenging and to decrease an amount of cylinder oil consumed, by a method wherein an oil collecting hole charged with a porous member and a piping, communicated with the outside, and a piping, communicated through the oil collecting hole to the outside, are provided above a scavenging hole. CONSTITUTION:Cylinder oil fed through oil inlet holes 24 is moved to the lower part of a cylinder liner 31 through movement of a piston ring 14 and a piston 15, a difference in a pressure between the interior of a cylinder 20 and that of a scavenging trunk 16, and through the action of gravity, and is accumulated in an oil collecting hole 32. In this case, since the oil collecting hole 32 is communicated through a piping 33 to the atmosphere, the cylinder oil is extruded by dint of a working gas pressure being higher than an atmospheric pressure. Cylinder oil in the oil collecting hole 32 flows through a porous layer 35 and a communicating hole 36 to the piping 33, and is recovered in a cylinder oil tank 21 through a throttle valve 34. This constitution enables prevention of carriage out of cylinder oil, fed through the inlet holes 24 to the upper end of a scavenging hole 17, through scavenging. |
