PURPOSE:To obtain high wave-dissipation effect, by filling up a wave- transmitting floating frame with a plurality of wave-dissipating blocks to form a floating breakwater, and by mooring the floating breakwater on specified sea-surface with a mooring rope. CONSTITUTION:Prestressed concrete pipes or steel pipes 5 are assembled to form a floating unit 2, and on both the upper and lower surfaces of the units 2, cables 6 and networks 7 are assembled to form a wave-transmitting floating frame 8, and the hollow section of the floating frame 8 is filled up with wave- dissipating blocks 9 to form a floating breakwater 1. The floating breakwater is permitted to float on specified sea-surface, and is fixed to settled sinker 4 via a mooring rope 3. As a result, wave is dissipated in a process for transmission through the wave-dissipating blocks 9, and high wave-dissipation effect is obtained.
