MEMORY CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE:To use only one buffer memory and to facilitate the control by selecting the data transfer frequency to a buffer memory smaller than the picture clock frequency of a printer and larger than the value decided by the main/sub scanning direction speed of the printer. CONSTITUTION:A printer data from a host computer 21 is converted into an image data by a memory control circuit 22 and stored for one page in a page memory 23. Then the data is stored in a buffer memory at each line from the memory 23 and gives an output to a laser printer 20 by one line each. The data transfer frequency from the memory 23 to the memory 24 is selected larger then the recording picture element in the main scanning direction with respect to the period of the sub scanning direction of the laser printer 20 per one picture element and smaller than or equal to the picture clock of the printer 20 and the data of the memory 24 is rewritten sequentially with a delay to the readout to the printer.
