PURPOSE:To achieve an excellent fastness against sunshine and an excellent print preserving performance, by applying an electronic beam hardening resin containing ultraviolet ray absorbing agent as an overcoat layer onto a thermal recording layer or an intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:An overcoat layer composed mainly of electron beam hardening resin and containing ultraviolet ray absorbing agent is applied onto a thermal recording layer containing a color former and a coloration agent which contacts the color former to exhibit a color or onto an intermediate layer composed mainly of an water soluble resin and arranged on said recording layer. The overcoat layer is formed of a prepolymer or a monomer, and the applying quantity is regulated preferably in the range of 0.1-20g/m<2>, more preferably in the range of 0.5-10g/m<2>. Preferably, hindered amine compound containing a structure shown by formula (I) is employed as the ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, and the applying quantity thereof is preferably in the range of 0.01-30wt% for 100wt% of electron beam hardening agent. |
