PURPOSE:To easily dispose of garbage, by grinding the org. substance of the garbage and kneading a dehydration additive based on a calcareous substance with the ground garbage before granulating the resulting kneaded mixture. CONSTITUTION:Garbage is charged in a garbage charge hopper 4 and ground by the blade 6 of a grinding fixed blade plate to be allowed to fall in a lower kneading casing 16. After the water content of the garbage is sensed, a dehydration additive is quantitatively added to the kneading casing 16 from a dehydration additive tank 2 and a partition plate 21 through a rotary measuring valve 15. Dehydration reaction is generated while the garbage and the additive are kneaded by a kneading rotary shaft 12 and a kneading blade scooping plate 11, and dehydration drying and sterilizing action are applied within a short time to granulate the kneaded mixture. Further, in order to discharge the malodor generated at the time of the dehydration reaction, an exhaust blower 22 and a deodorizer 23 are arranged. By this method, the practical use of the granulation disposal can be achieved.
