PURPOSE:To obtain a contact-tight optical recording medium having an timewise stable recording performance and capable of reproduction of record with high sensibility, by laminating a light reflection layer and a transparent layer in this order through an adhesive layer composed of hot melt adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A transparent sheet 6 and a supporting material 1 are laminated through hot melt adhesive 2 being applies onto one or both of the surface of the supporting material 1 and the surface of a light reflection layer 3 on the underface of the transparent sheet 6 with some open time, as required; then, they are contacted tightly through press or thermal press employing a hot board, thus producing an optical recording medium. When a hot melt type adhesive layer is employed as a layer for forming the underlayer of the light reflection layer 3, recording sensibility is improved and excellent timewise stability is exhibited. This optical recording medium may be applied in products of various shapes including a flexible disc, a tape, a sheet, etc. |
