PURPOSE:To easily cut a lug part in the specified dimension without causing chips by moving a cutting roller in the direction running along the rotary shaft of a pulley with rotating it. CONSTITUTION:A cutting roller 26 is approached to the rim part 15 of a pulley 19 up to the scheduled distance by fixing it between both supporting bodies 21, 22. In succession the pulley 19 is rotated at high speed by driving with rotation the stationary side supporting body 21 by a motor 20. A cutting roller 24 is moved to one part of the axial direction by the cylinder 25 for moving to cut the projection part 18 of the lug part 17 of a rim part 15 by an edge 26. When the cutting of one part of the lug part 17 is completed, the cutting roller 26 is moved to the other part of the axial direction by the cylinder 25 for moving to cut the projection part 18 as well of the lug part 17 of the other part by the edge 26 of the other part.
