A ball-game device comprises a plane bowl recessed in the manner of a dish, having a display area and a ball track. A ball located in the ball track is set in rotational motion by a rotating magnet which is arranged on a double arm set in rotational motion by a drive motor. A turnstile is provided on the drive shaft of the double arm, on the playing bowl side. In order to achieve opposing motion of the turnstile and the ball running direction, a sleeve-shaped extension of the double arm has a toothing in which a tooth belt, leading to the drive motor, and a reversing wheel engage. Mounted in a hollow axle of the double arm is a shaft on which the turnstile on the playing bowl side on the one hand and a pulley driven via the reversing wheel on the other hand are arranged.
