In narrow-band receiver circuits for radio clocks, high selectivity without obliteration of modulation and high stability with respect to the resonant frequency and quality factor are required. These requirements can be met in an ideal manner by a combination of a tuned antenna circuit with slightly reduced damping and a slightly damped crystal filter.
