<p>PURPOSE:To make the effective control of a battery easy by checking the effective using term of the battery at any time, and when the term is within a prescribed period including the effective using term, informing the replacement of the battery. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted of a keyboard 1, a bar code reader 11, a printer 3, and a CRT display device 4 which are connected to a CPU2 to be a control part through an I/O interface circuit 7. A program memory 5, a data memory 6 and a timer circuit 10 are connected to the CPU2 and an informing means 12 such as a speaker and an IC-RAM card 9 are also connected to the CPU2 through an interface circuit 8. In such a case, the effective using term of a built-in battery is stored in a specific area of the card 9 by the input operation of the keyboard 1. The CPU2 reads out the effective using term, specifies the reading time by the clocking of the timer circuit 10, and informs the read term through the informing means 12 or the like in accordance with whether it is before or after the effective using term.</p> |
