PURPOSE:To facilitate the fine adjustment of the hooking position of an upper rail by making the width size of a lock piece smaller than the gap size between a pair of bearings and positioning a slide seat for car with a positioning member within its backlash range. CONSTITUTION:In an assembled state, a lever 6 is operated to bring a lock piece 4 with a width W smaller than a size L between a pair of bearings 5a, 5b of a lever bracket 5 into contact with a stopper plate 3, if a through hole 4a is not coupled well with its tooth profile, the lick piece 4 is pressed to the tooth tip of the stopper plate 3 by the energizing force of a torsion coil spring 9. Under this condition, a bolt 8 is loosened, the lock piece 4 is moved together with a lever shaft 6a within a range of the backlash size L-W, the through hole 4a is coupled with the tooth profile, and the bolt 8 is tightened. Accordingly, the hooking position of an upper rail 11 can be finely adjusted quickly and easily. |
