PURPOSE:To perform the optimum clutch tightening force control in response to road surface conditions by changing to the clutch tightening force control characteristic of a higher level as the slip occurrence frequency is increased. CONSTITUTION:A driving system clutch means 1 is provided in the middle of an engine driving system distributively transmitting the engine driving force to the front and rear wheels or the right and left wheels, and the transmitted torque can be changed by the clutch tightening force from the outside. A clutch control means 4 has a slip occurrence condition detecting unit 401 detecting slip occurrence conditions based on input signals from a front wheel rotating speed sensor 2 and a rear wheel rotating speed sensor 3 and an output unit 402 outputting the control signal controlling the tightening force of the driving system clutch 1. When the slip occurrence frequency is increased, the clutch tightening force control in response to it is performed, thus the optimum clutch control in response to the travel condition can be realized.
