The gripper (1) is equipped with a pressure cylinder (2) arranged coaxially to the gripper. Gripping fingers (13) are fixed to sliding pieces (11) capable of moving radially relative to one another. The transmission of the movements is effected by means of angle levers (9) which are provided, at their ends, with sliding slots (8) into which the drive pins (6) of the pressure piston (2) and of the sliding pieces (11) engage. <IMAGE>
