PURPOSE:To make an instantaneous changeover of various screws attainable, by installing such a shutoff device as free of opening or closing in the midway of a screw feeding through hole installed in a base block, while supplying a screw with pressure air for screw pressure feed use when the screw reaches up to the bottom of the said hole. CONSTITUTION:In the state of an initial stage where a topper screw 8'' among aligned screws 8 in a row is situated on a screw receiving part 7 of a screw feed plate 4, when this screw feed plate 4 and a shutoff plate 9 are shifted to the left, the screw 8'' is separated from other screws 8 by means of a separation claw 5, and entered inside a screw feeding through hole 2 by way of a guide part 6. Simultaneously with this entry, a through hole 10 of the shutoff plate 9 is accorded with the said hole 2 whereby the screw 8'' being entered inside the hole 2 immediately drops down to the extent of a pressure feed hose 12. Next, both plates 4 and 9 are brought back to the initial position and simultaneously the screw 8'' inside the pressure feed hose 12 is fed forward by pressure to the pressure air fed in from a pressure feed air passage 11. According to this method, there is none of these screws 8 behind inside the pressure feed hose 12 so that the desired end can be easily brought to full fruition. |
