PURPOSE:To extremely reduce the working load of an operator in an input time by identifying the attribute of each unit character string based on the information on character string features stored previously and performing layout of character strings according to the identified attribute and the form information stored previously. CONSTITUTION:An operator inputs the data on the article number, the type number, the price, the specifications, etc., of each article through a unit character string information input device 1. These input information are stored in a unit character string information part 11. While a character string feature information part 12 and the form information 13 store the character string feature information showing the relation between the features and attributes of the input unit character strings to be allocated and the form information on each attribute which are previously inputted from a character string feature information input part 2 and a form information input device 3 respectively. An attribute identifying device 4 identifies the attribute of each input unit character string based on the information stored in the part 12. A form device 5 retrieves the part 13 based on the result of said identification and reads out the form information in response to each unit character string. When the form information on all unit character strings stored in the part 11 are obtained, the layout is carried out with all unit character strings and these layouts are outputted via an output device 6. |
