PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an user, by a method wherein a plurality of cooking condition scales is arranged on an operating surface two-dimensionally and a pushing position in X direction and Y direction is read as a setting information on the cooking condition. CONSTITUTION:An inputting device 29 is constituted of the operating surface of a flexible sheet, provided through an area resistor 22 a spacer 23, and the area resistor 25 and a plurality of cooking condition scales is written two- dimensionally on the surface of the operating surface 24 while a cooking time scale, common for range cooking and oven cooking, is written in X direction. A heating output scale for range cooking and a heating chamber temperature scale for the oven cooking are written in Y direction. In this constitution, the position of a desired objective intersecting point in X, Y directions is pushed to input for every oven cooking and range cooking whereby the cooking condition is set. According to this constitution, the handling convenience of the cooker may be improved and proper cooking may be effected.
