PURPOSE:To shorten the electrolyte pouring time and to prevent the splash of an electrolyte in the electrolyte pouring by forming an electrolyte reservoir between a bag-like sheet which covers a plate group and the lower position of the plate group. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte reservoir 3 is formed between a bag-like sheet 1 and a plate group 2 in the lower side position of the plate group 2 which is accommodated in the bag-like sheet 1. The electrolyte reservoir 3 helps to shorten the electrolyte pouring time, and free electrolyte just after pouring is stored in the electrolyte reservoir 3. If the amount of electrolyte just retained in an anode plate 4, a cathode plate 5, and a separator 6 is poured, the electrolyte is gradually impregnated in the plate group from the reservoir 3. Thereby, the level of the electrolyte is lowered and the splash of the electrolyte is prevented. |
