PURPOSE:To remove bad effects of external vibration and to improve close- fitness to a luminous tube by disposing a high-melting-point metallic line, which is shorter than a distance between electrodes, on an external wall of the luminous tube and fixing this line so as to be rotatable around a pole brace. CONSTITUTION:A high-melting-point metallic line 6 is wound in a coiled shape around the whole or part of a straight line 5 of a high-melting-point metallic line whose length is a half to a third of a distance between electrodes in a luminous tube 1. This metallic line is disposed on an external wall of the tube, and one end of this line is fixed and supported on a bimetal 4 and the other end is crooked from the luminous tube 1 to the side of a pole brace 2. Then the metallic line is disposed rotatable around the pole brace 2 by winding the end part around the pole brace 2. When a lamp operation is started or restarted in this structure, the high-melting-point metallic line 5 is made close to the luminous tube 1. When the high-melting-point metallic line 5 and the bimetal 4 become heated by their receiving heat from the luminous tube 1 after the tube is started in operation, the bimetal 4 is deformed and the high-melting-point metallic line 5 is rotated around a point A which serves as a supporting point and so the line 5 is separated from the luminous tube 1.
