PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance the external appearance level, which concerns bubbles, pock marks, voids and the like, and at the same time make it possible to efficiently manufacture a prepreg with stable quality by a method wherein more than two of submerged rolls, which are on levels different in the depth direction, are arranged in resin varnish and a base material is run in a zigzag line along the submerged rolls. CONSTITUTION:A base material 4 made of glass fabric is run along a guide roll 2 and seven submerged rolls 3, which are arranged on levels different in the depth direction, in order to impregnate the base material 4 with curing agent and curing accelerating agent-containing bisphenol A type epoxy resin varnish 5 having the concentration of 60wt% prepared in methyl ethyl ketone. After that, the amount of resin is continuously prepared with squeeze rolls 1 so as to realize the resin coverage of 50wt%. In succession, an epoxy-glass fabric prepreg is obtained by drying the base material.
