PURPOSE:To obtain a vinyl leather without causing disappearance of crepes, etc., by laminating a foam layer consisting of a composition containing a specific amount of a foaming agent, cell regulator, etc., in a vinyl chloride based resin having a specific range of polymerization degree on a base fabric and laminating a heat-resistant surface treating layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl leather, obtained by laminating a foam layer consisting of a composition containing 40-150pts.wt. plasticizer, 3-5pts.wt. foaming agent, 1-10pts.wt. cell regulator, e.g. acrylic resin, etc., 1-15pts.wt. softening point improver, e.g., acrylic rubber, etc., other stabilizer, colorant, etc., in 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride based resin having 1,300-2,500 average polymerization degree on a base fabric, e.g. woven, knitted fabric, etc., consisting of natural or synthetic fibers, etc., and laminating a heat-resistant surface treating layer, e.g. urethane based resin having >=130 deg.C softening point thereon and capable of preventing disappearance or flow of crepes and change in gloss. The leather is effectively used as a base fabric in shoes, e.g. pumps for ladies, etc.
