PURPOSE:To freely set the transmitting frequency of a message by providing a means setting the number of the cycles of the message transmitted to the line. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 5 supervises incoming call detection circuits 2a-2n. When they detect an incoming call, they bring a tape deck 3 into a reproduction state, and transmit a message. At the end of the transmission of the message, the control circuit 5, receiving a detection signal from a marker detection circuit 4, rewinds the tape deck 3, and simultaneously increments a cycle counter. Then the control circuit 5 compares the reading of the cycle counter with the preset value of the cycle setting means 6. When they are coincident the control circuit 5 stops transmitting the message and opens the line. However, if they are non-coincident the control circuit 5 repeats the transmission of the message and rewinding.
