PURPOSE:To limit the width of a final welded line after shape-adjusting in minimum, while shortening the residual end to be cut by a method in which ribbon part is kept almost on a plain in between the surfaces of two guide plates and its edge is inserted to the brink of a welded line, and then the residual end is caused to branch at the brink of the welded line by an inclined surface. CONSTITUTION:After the finish of welding, when an ultrasonic welding hone 3 is elevated, a clamp device 5 is moved and a ribbon is moved from one end of a guide plate 9 to other end thereof in a constant speed. When one edge 10 of the guide plate 9 approaches gradually the welded line of the ribbon 1, and the ribbon 1 reaches a guide groove 13, the welded line 4 of the ribbon 1 enters the guide groove 13, and is further moved, while causing the edge 10 to which guide plates 9a, 9b project to be in contact with the ends of both sides of the welded line 4. When the ribbon 1 approaches a laser head 15, a laser generator starts. A laser beam is radiated from a laser head 15a on the inclined surface to which the guide plate 9b projects, and the laser beam from a laser head 15b is conversely radiated on the inclined surface 12 of the guide plate 9a. Consequently, the residual end 1c of the ribbon 1 is exactly cut at the edge of the welded line exactly positioned in the guide groove 13. |
