PURPOSE:To obtain welding equipment without necessitating the transfere of materials to be welded by rotating a rotational frame according to a working stage and transferring respective means except a holding means to a working part to carry out respective works there and reducing the installation space of the welding equipment. CONSTITUTION:The material 01 to be welded is conveyed to a clamp unit 12 and a clamp part 12b holds this material and then, a shear unit 3 cuts a rear end part of the material 01 to be welded. Next, the material 02 to be welded is held by a clamp part 12a and the unit 3 cuts the tip part of the material 02 to be welded. The unit 3 is shunted to the waiting position and the rotational frame 10 is rotated by 90 deg. clockwise and a dresser unit 4 is transferred to the clamp unit 12 and the unit 4 grinds a butt part of the materials 01 and 02 to be welded. Next, the frame 10 is rotated and a welding unit 5 is transferred to the position of the clamp unit 12 to weld the materials 01 and 02 to be welded. Hereafter, in the same way, a rolling unit 6 rolls beads generated on a weld zone and the materials 01 and 02 to be welded which have been welded are separated from the clamp parts 12a and 12b and rearranged on a line 1.
