<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high grade recording image having high resolving power, by a method wherein a visible image is formed to an intermediate recording medium as a master image having a size larger than that of the image formed to the surface of a film and the master visible image formed to the intermediate recording medium is contracted on the surface of a photosensitive film to be subjected to scanning exposure. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a charged rotary photosensitive drum 7 is scanned by modulation laser beam L to successively form the electrostatic latent image corresponding to electrical image data S and having a size larger than that of the image formed to the predetermined small area range on the surface of a film F to the surface of the rotary photosensitive drum 7. The electrostatic latent image formed to the surface of the drum 7 is made visible as a toner image by a developer 9. The master visible image is successively revolved by the continuous rotation of the drum 7 to pass an illumination part 10 and receives illumination by a linear halogen lamp 11 and the reflected light (l) from the surface of the master visible image is successively subjected to slit image forming exposure on the surface of a silver salt microfilm F, which is fed at a predetermined speed in synchronous relation to the rotation of the photosensitive drum 7, in a predetermined contraction rate through a slit plate 13, mirrors 14, 15 and an image forming lens 16.</p> |
