PURPOSE:To form an automatic answering telephone set in which a business message only to contain a special signal is transferred when the business message is sound-recorded by setting whether or not a transferring action is executed by the prescribed signal from a caller. The caller, before business message ICM is sound-recorded or after the sound recording is completed or within a command awaiting time, sound-records a prescribed dial key, for example, a DTMF signal corresponding to *. Only the business message ICM, in which the *DTMF signal is sound-recorded, is transferred. Thus, the business message ICM of the caller not to know the operation to sound-record the * DTMF signal is not transferred and the trouble, in which transferring is frequently executed, is eliminated.
