PURPOSE:To avoid dangerous spinning of vehicle, by providing a two-wheel drive detection means and a changeover means, and preventing execution of anti-skid control under two-wheel drive condition thereby eliminating temporal spinning after locking of rear wheels through locking of front wheels. CONSTITUTION:Under two-wheel drive condition, a two-wheel drive detection means 23 outputs current (i) so as to turn on solenoids 21a, 22a through a current amplifier 24 thus shortcircuiting between conduits 11, 13 and conduits 16, 18 through changeover valves 21, 22. Consequently, master cylinder liquid pressure Pm in the conduit 11 bypasses an anti-skid unit 12 and normally fed as it is to right front wheel 2 and left rear wheel 4 through a conduits 13, 14 so as to brake them. Master cylinder liquid pressure Pm in the conduit 16 bypasses an anti-skid unit 17 and normally fed as it is to right front wheel 3 and left rear wheel 4 through conduits 18, 19 so as to brake them. Consequently, anti-skid control is not executed for any wheel thus preventing dangerous spinning of rear wheel with the front wheel being unlocked.
