摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the power utilizing efficiency of a cosmos station by controlling the transmission power based on a rainfall attenuation of an up-link from itsown station estimated based on a rainfall attenuation of a down-link and the rainfall attenuation of the down-link of the opposite satellite communication earth station sent from the opposite party. CONSTITUTION:A DAMA control circuit 12 switches an up-converter 14 to a CSC (Common Signalling Channel) for a short time at each prescribed period during communication and a data representing the rainfall attenuation of the down-link detected by a level control logic 7 is sent to the opposite satellite communication earth station. Similarly, the down converter 10 is switches to the CSC frequency by a DAMA control circuit 12 synchronously with the transmission of the opposite satellite communication earth station similarly, the down-link rainfall attenuation data of the opposite satellite communication earth station is inputted to the DAMA control circuit and transferred to a level control logic 7. The level control logic 7 controls the level control circuit 8 based on the rainfall attenuation data of the estimated up-link and the transferred down-link rainfall attenuation date so as to bring the reception power of the opposite station always to a constant level.
