<p>PURPOSE:To accurately install an engine unit, etc. on a vehicle body by correcting the deviation of position by the action of a rotary lifting table even if the position of a vehicle body which is carried into a loading station is deviated. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle body 14 supported by a hanger 12 which is provided on an overhead conveyor 10 installed along a vehicle assembly line is conveyed to a position detecting station STs and a loading station STp provided in the assembly line, in order. Sensors 16a-16d for detecting the position of the vehicle body are provide in the station STs, while a lifter 20 for loading an engine unit 17 and a lifter 21 for loading an axle unit 18 are installed in the station STp. A rotary lifting table 64 is provided on each of the lifters 20, 21, and the engine unit, etc. is loaded on the vehicle body using this lifting table.</p> |
