PURPOSE:To recognize as a certain pattern on its external appearance by transferring the microbit formed by a laser on the metal surface in the state of varying the unevenness, diameter and gap of the bit and in the state of overlapping the bit. CONSTITUTION:A microbit 10 is formed by rotating a roll 12 at a fixed speed and projecting a laser beam 14 on the surface of the roll 12 with intermittently controlling it by a chopper 16. In this case, the pattern composed of the dot matrix definitely formed is drawn by varying the unevenness and diameter of the microbit 10 and the gap of the bit. A steel plate 1 is subjected to a rolling reduction by the roll 12 to transfer the pattern composed of the necessary dot matrix on the surface of the steel plate 1. The metal plate having a correct and clear pattern which can be recognized as a certain pattern on the external appearance is thus obtainable. |
