PURPOSE:To prevent the generating of the vanishing accident of receiving data beforehand by rejecting a confidential communication automatically with confidential unreceivable data at a receiving station side in the confidential communication. CONSTITUTION:At a transmitting station side, an ID for a person of a confidential special receiving person is also inputted and transmitted. When a receiving station side turns on a confidential receivable displaying bit, the confidential unreceivable ID field of FIF in an NSF is analyzed (NSF: non-standard function identifying signal and FIF: facsimile information field). As a result of analyzing, when the ID for a person of a special receiving person inputted at the time of transmitting at the transmitting station side is not included in the field, the transmitting is continued and a confidential telegraphic message is transferred and accumulated to the receiving station side. When the receiving station side makes a confidential receivable displaying bit into 0, and even at the time of ON, the ID for the person of the special receiving person of an addressee is included in the confidential unreceivable ID field of the FIF, and then, the transmitting station side transmits a line cutting instruction and stops the transmitting.
