<p>A package for an optically readable disc (4) comprises a support (1) which at one side carries retaining means (2) which retain the disc in a readily detachable manner, whilst a cover (3) is fitted on one side and in its closed condition covers the disc. In order to ensure an easy removal of the disc, even when it has a comparatively large diameter, the entire cover is detachable from the support and the cover and the support can be re-united by a sliding movement with the aid of means (6-10) which cooperate with each other and over a sliding distance which is smaller or even substantially smaller than half the dimension of the cover measured in the sliding direction.</p> |
