PURPOSE:To prevent a circulation filter from getting into a dust source when a spindle rotates by providing the circulation filter in the space between a spindle shaft and a spindle hub and fixing the circulation filter to a first housing base. CONSTITUTION:The circulation filter 6 is provided in the space between the spindle 9 and the spindle hub 7, and the circulation filter 6 is fixed to the first housing base 11. Air flow in a head disk assembly 12, which is completely sealed up and surrounded by the first housing base 11, a second housing base 10 and a cover, forms a negative pressure part near the center of a spindle 8 as arrows show. Clean air which passes through the circulation filter 6 goes through a spindle hub opening part 7a and spacing opening part 5a and flows to the spaces between magnetic disks 1. The air which flows to the paces between the magnetic disks 1 backward in their radius direction forms an air flow loop flowing into the circulation filter 6. Thus the air flow can keep the state of cleanliness.
