PURPOSE:To smooth the curved surface of a part where three curved surfaces approach, by forming a fillet surface by inserting a circular arc between a first and a third curved surfaces (between outside curved surfaces) when the circular arc inserted between the first curved surface and a second curved surface intersects the third curved surface. CONSTITUTION:The arc ARCi with a radius R is inserted to the part where a first curve 11i on the first curved surface and a second curve 12i on the second curved surface consisting of a compound curved surface cutting curve 10i constituted by cutting a compound curved surface CCS with a prescribed cross section, intersect, and it is decided whether the circular arc intersects the third curved surface 3. When no intersection of the circular arc ARCi with the curved surface 3 occurs, the circular arc is assumed as a part of the fillet surface, and when the former intersects the latter, the circular arc ARCi' with the radius R is inserted to the part where the first curve 11i intersects a third curve 13i consisting of the compound curved surface cutting curve 10i on the third curved surface 3, and forms the circular arc as a part of the fillet surface. In such a way, it is possible to process the part where three curved surfaces approach smoothly.
