The device simulates missiles in attack trajectory by means of a target which emulates both radar echo and approach velocity of the supposed attacking missile. An ogive equipped with a radar reflector designed for the radar frequency band, which notably amplifies the return echo, is incorporated in the body of a 5" projectile, at a predetermined shoot direction. - The reflector characteristics permit reflection of the incident beam-radar, returning the echo in the direction of origin. It consists of a tri-rectangular trihedral in conducting material, capable of total reflection of the incident beam, returning the echo in the direction of origin of the signal, which is inserted in a machined dielectric material to reproduce the classic geometry of the fuse of the 5" projectile.
