PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition highly adhesive to other kinds of rubbers, useful for fuel hoses, etc., by incorporating specified amount of epichlorohydrin polymer in the resin component of a composition comprising chlorinated polyethylene, specific chlorinated ethylene copolymer and crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:First, a three-component blend is prepared by incorporating 100pts.wt. of a blend made up of (A) 5-95wt% of chlorinated polyethylene and (B) 95-5wt% of a chlorinated ethylene-acrylic alkyl ester copolymer containing 2-45wt% of chlorine with (C) 3-30pts.wt. of an epichlorohydrin polymer. Thence, this blend is incorporated with (D) as the crosslinking agent, a mercaptotriazine, (E) a compound selected from amines with boiling points >=110 deg.C or their organic acid salts or adducts therefrom, diarylquanidines, condensates from aniline and aldehyde, and primary or secondary amine 2- benzothiazyl sulfenamides, and (F) a metal compound as the acid acceptor, thus obtaining the objective composition. |
