PURPOSE:To alleviate accumulation of remaining electric charge at the time of repeated uses and to stabilize sensitivity and potential by incorporating a charge transfer material, a resin, and selenium or its compound in a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is composed of a substrate 1, a charge generating layer 2, and the charge transfer layer 3, and when the layer 3 is formed on the layer 2 in the case of (a), it is used as a negative charging mode, but when the layer 2 is formed on the layer 3 in the case of (b), it is used as a positive charging mode. The layer 3 is formed by dissolving the charge transfer material A, the resin B, such as polycarbonate, polyarylate, polyester, or other generally used binder resins, in an A/B of 5:1-1:5, preferably, 3:1-1:3, and selenium or its compound in a ketone type or hydrocarbon type solvent, and using it for coating, and a barrier layer may be formed between the photosensitive layer and the substrate. |
