PURPOSE:To maintain stored function even if an IC card is pulled out of a camera body, by designating functions to be executed of the camera in accordance with data read into a storage means whether the IC card is set or not. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means which detects whether an IC card 4 is set or not, a reading means which reads data stored in the IC card 4 into a storage means 4C of the camera when the IC card 4 is set, and a control means which designates functions to be executed of the camera in accordance with data read into the storage means 4C whether the IC card 4 is set or not are provided. After the IC card 4 is set to the camera body once, functions of the camera are specified in accordance with contents of data which is read from the IC card 4 and is stored in the camera body and are executed. |
