PURPOSE:To obtain excellent low-temp. fixability and offset resistance and to expand a practicable fixable temp. range by incorporating polyester contg. 0.1-50wt.% chloroform insoluble component and wax into meltable core mate rial particles. CONSTITUTION:The polyester contg. 0.1-50wt.% chloroform insoluble compo nent and the wax are incorporated into the meltable core material particles. More specifically, the polyester to be incorporated into the core material particles is the polyester contg. 0.1-50wt.% chloroform insoluble component and, therefore, the polyester contains a high mol.wt. component or has crosslinked structure. The viscoelasticity of the toner when melted is, therefore, adjusted to an adequate size and the transfer of the toner material to a heat roller of a heat roller fixing device is hardly generated. The excellent offset resistance is thus obtd. Since the wax is incorporated into the core material particles, the toner is made meltable at the lower temp. by the characteristic of the wax, i.e., the characteristic that the wax melts at a low temp. The excel lent low temp. fixability is thus exhibited particularly in environmental conditions of a low temp. and low humidity and the fixable temp. range is greatly widened. |
