PURPOSE:To smoothly start the copying operation even after inter miss ion of blackboard copying by operating a feeding means and an optical image transmitting means after detecting lighting of an illuminating means to prevent excess light from being led to a copying device. CONSTITUTION:A board part 1 and a copying part 2 are synchronized to transmit and receive signals under the control of CPUs 37 and 60. If a board print key on an operation part 6 in the board part 1 is depressed when the copying part 2 is in the stand-by state, not only a lamp 34 on the board part 1 but also a lamp 13 on the copying part 2 is lit. A detecting means outputs a lamp OK signal from the board part 1 when detecting that lamps 33 and 13 are normally lit, and the copying part 2 receives this signal and drives a paper supply roll 19 to supply a sheet of paper and operates a blank shutter 25 to form the optical image from the board part 1 on a photosensitive drum 12, thus starting copying. |
