PURPOSE:To prevent leak of air by covering a drum by a cylinder having a ceiling part and forming an air chamber in the upper part of the drum and connecting the air chamber with an air processing part and forming an air passage in the lower part of the cylinder and connecting the air passage with a heat insulating chamber, in the captioned device for the heat treatment for foods which is formed by winding a belt onto the drum. CONSTITUTION:A drum 1 is revolved, and a cooler 12 and a fan 11 are driven. Foods are transferred from the lower part to the upper part on the outer periphery of the drum 1 in spiral form by an endless conveyor 5, and the low temperature air is blown into an air chamber 10 from a blow-out port 7. Therefore, foods are cooled and sent outside, passing through a heat insulating processing chamber 3. After cooling the foods, the cold air in the air chamber 10 is discharged into the heat insulating processing chamber 3 from an air flow part 6, and then returned into an air processing part 4 through a duct 9, and cooled again and allowed to circulate. With such a constitution, the leak of processing air is prevented, and energy can be economized, and efficiency can be improved. |
