PURPOSE:To simplify the file processing of a copying sheet, by providing a display means which displays a center mark by a liquid crystal display device when a shift copying function is selected. CONSTITUTION:A timer T1 is started up when the shift copying function is selected, and a timer T2 is started up when it is not. The clocking time of the timer T1 is shorter than that of the timer T2, and by rotating a timing roller 36 after the time up of the timer T1, a sheet is introduced in a copying processing part 23 prior to the rotation of a photosensitive drum 22. Consequently, relative delay in an image occurs for the sheet, and the image of an original is moved backward in a scanning direction on the sheet. Therefore, a space part is formed at the front end part of the copying sheet in the scanning direction. At this time, the center mark 6 representing the center position of a direction perpendicular to the scanning direction is formed in the neighborhood of the space part of the copying sheet as a copying image, and it can be a yardstick to decide a position when the file processing of the copying sheet is performed.
