PURPOSE:To freely design a grip to prevent play of the grip after setting, by attachably and detachably setting a camera body and the grip to each other and providing a grip shake stopping means and a positioning means on the contacting surface. CONSTITUTION:A camera body 100 having a horizontal battery storage chamber 2a in the bottom part and a grip 200 which is used as the cover of this battery storage chamber 2a and is attachably and detachably set to the camera body are provided. The grip 200 is provided with a positioning part fitted to the battery storage chamber 2a, and a whirl-stop means (shake stopping member) 19 of the grip 200 and a positioning means (positioning boss) 18 are provided on the contacting surface between the camera body 100 and the grip 200. Thus, the beautiful grip 200 of good holdability is realized because the grip 200 can be designed independently of the size and the shape of the battery storage chamber 2a, and play between the grip 200 and the camera body 100 is not caused after setting.
