PURPOSE:To collect rare earth concentrates of high grade and high actual yield by grinding raw ore in such a manner that ore of specific particle sizes has a specific ratio, then subjecting the ore to ferromagnetic sepn., high grade magnetic sepn., gravity sepn., flotation at a specific them., reverse flotation at a specific temp. and AC magnetic sepn. CONSTITUTION:The raw ore contg. bastnalsite and monazite as the rare earth ore and magnetite, hematite, fluorite and quartz as main ore is ore is ground so that the weight ratio occupied by the ore of <44mu particle size in the entire part attains 65-87%. Such raw ore is subjected to the ferromagnetic sepn., high grade magnetic sepn. gravity sepn., flotation at the pulp temp. kept at 58-80 deg.C, reverse flotation at the pulp temp. kept at 58-80 deg.C and AC magnetic sepn. in this order. As a result, the rare earth concentrates are collectable in higher grade and higher actual yield than in the case of the conventional method. |
