PURPOSE:To increase a power transmission capacity without enlarging a device, by employing one set of four power rollers to transmit power between input- and output cone disks. CONSTITUTION:Power rollers 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d to be subjected to a frictional engagement with respective opposed cone surfaces are provided between an input cone disk 10 and an output cone disk 7, as a set of four power rollers, which are placed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the input cone disk 10 and fitted rotatably to trunnions 14a-14d capable of rotating round oscillating axes 13a-13d crossing at right angles with respective rotational axial lines 12a-12d individually. This constitution enables a traction force to be twofold, compared with the existing ones and require no more than one toroidal power transmission unit unexceptionally, even if a large capacity thereof is called for. Accordingly, the transmission capacity can be made larger, according to the requirement.
