PURPOSE:To allow a plate to withstand molding processing such as deep drawing processing, impact processing or the like, by a method wherein chemical forming treatment is preliminarily applied to an aluminum or aluminum alloy plate to form a hydrated oxide film and, thereafter, a thermoplastic fluorocarbon resin layer is provided to the surface of said oxide film and a tetrafluoroethylene resin film is subsequently thermally fused to said resin layer. CONSTITUTION:Both of a commercial usual aluminum plate or a commercial aluminum alloy plate can be adapted but one having no oils and fats adhered thereto is used. At first, chemical forming treatment is applied to the aluminum plate to form a hydrated oxide film and, after washing and sufficient drying, a thermoplastic fluorocarbon resin layer is continuously formed to the surface of said oxide film or said oxide film is once treated with an aminosilane compound solution before the thermoplastic fluorocarbon resin layer is formed to the surface of the oxide film. As the thermoplastic fluorocarbon resin to be used, one melted by heat treatment such as a tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene resin is pref. A tetrafluoroethylene resin film is continuously applied to the obtained thermoplastic fluorocarbon resin layer. The formed fluoroethylene resin film layer is enhanced in bonding strength and severe molding processing is possible. |
