Chemical analytical device, esp. for immunoassay, involving contact of the sample with a reagent(s) to form a detectable substance (I) for qualitative or quantitative determn. is new when it comprises a continuous sheet of at least 2 segments. The first one contains a site on which a reagent(s) is present from the start, and on which contact between it an the sample can take place. The second one contains a site, esp. with (I) present from the start and on which its presence can be shown. These first and second segments are foldable in such a way that the site with the reagents can be brough to overlap the detection site. It comprises an arrangement(s) for sepn.of reagent(s) that has not reacted during the contact between sample and reagent(s). The arrangement is placed so that it is activated before the presence of (I) is shown. The segments present can be folded in such a way that desired segments overlap each other for performance of the analytical step. |
