PURPOSE:To check the influence of waveform distortion caused by a reflection in the minimum by controlling a switch in a data transmitting device near an abnormality occurring spot so as to separate a terminal resistance and connecting an impedance element instead of the said resistance when a transmission line goes into an abnormal condition. CONSTITUTION:Data transmitting devices 15 shift status data which shows the operation state of the respective data transmitting devices with a token. Then, the data transmitting device 15 having the token can directly decide the state of the other data transmitting devices 15 and shift the token to the data transmitting device 15 which is the nearest to the abnormal spot while the abnormality in the transmission line 11 is made to be recovred so as to terminate with an alternate resistance 16 and secure the good transmission line 11. After securing the good transmission line 11, a specified data process is executed with transferring the token between the normal data transmitting devices 15... so that the influence caused by breaking of wire on the transmission line 11 can be checked in the minimum.
